Joe loved his "BLUEGRASS" and his "BRAMWELL HILL"
Joe made an attempt at Nashville but success did not come his way. Joe didn't break into music's "BIG TIME" but he broke into our hearts. Joe belonged to all of us. He wanted to spend eternity on his beloved "BRAMWELL HILL". HE GOT HIS WISH!
I'm sure Joe is now teaching the angels to play "BLUEGRASS" on a harp.

Isaac and Nancy built this home of Chestnut Logs in the mid 1850's on SHINBRIER HILL. It is still standing today and is one of the oldest original structures in the area. Home is on a LAND GRANT dated 1850. I would like to see it recognized as a HISTORIC LANDMARK! UPDATE - Home was probably built by one of Isaac and Nancy's sons. It was recently demolished.
